Drawing Tutorials

There is printer paper on the counter by the windows. Pencils are in a tote on the shelves by my desk or on the counter by the windows. Crayons or color pencils are out on the counters by the windows or in the cabinet under that counter.

(Scroll Down For Lessons and Drawing Tutorials)
Materials needed- Paper, clipboards and pencils for these tutorials are in the front of the room on either side of  the board.

Click to be linked to the Art for Kids Hub Channel, or scroll down for a bunch more tutorial videos.

Or... here are links to my upper and lower grade YouTube playlists below

You can do any of these below or some of the newer ones above. Art For Kids Hub updates their drawing tutorials weekly.  These are easy lessons. Pick which ever ones you feel like will be best for that grade level.  I usually have them fold their paper in half so they have four drawing spaces to draw something on 2 on the front and 2 on the back. The paper is in the cabinets by the sink. The pencils are on a cart by the smartboard.

EASY DRAMA LESSONS

Below are two lessons, but the one on the left is catered more to K-2 and the one on the right might be better for the upper grade kids 3-5.
On the K-2 one just have them follow along acting out the various activities. On the 3-5 one show them one or two of the videos, then have them learn the body percussion activity in the video then put that body percussion sequence with the Wellerman video towards the end of the slides. It helps to slow it down. Kids know how to do it if you don't. I just learned myself.  If you would like another option scroll down to the drawing tutorials below the lessons.

This is a video I made of me teaching an easy and beautiful lesson made by the district. You don't have to do much. I explain everything in the video. I will update this each week for you to use just in case I am not in class. This video works for K-6 basically.
Thanks!

Drama Games

This one would work K-6 really.
This is one we played last year.
I wouldn't play it with the larger classes! It would work as a socially distance game with some tweaks.
Commands

This would be fun for any grade I feel.
Here is a randomizer wheel for emotion ideas.
Here is a list of words you could use instead of Spaghetti.

This one is a big hit with the 2-6th grade bunch. They could play this the whole time or you could also try one of the other games above. If you don't feel like doing drama games with them then just scroll down from here you can do the drawing tutorials. It is an easy way to keep them busy with the arts and they can hone important motor, visual and confidnce skills at the same time.
Thanks!
